Natural Fibre Board & Nalexible at Tokyo Architecture + Construction Materials 2026
At Architecture + Construction Materials 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight, we presented two of our core material systems:
Natural Fibre Board (NFB) structural panels and door systems, and Nalexible ultra-thin natural stone panels.
The exhibition brought together architects, designers, building material suppliers and construction professionals from across the region, providing a valuable opportunity to introduce our material technologies and explore new applications in architectural design and interior systems.
Natural Fibre Board (NFB) Structural Panel System
One of the main highlights of the exhibition was our Natural Fibre Board (NFB) structural material platform.
NFB is based on a natural plant fibre structural core, designed to function not simply as a filler material but as a structural core layer for door systems and interior panels.
Products presented at the exhibition included:
• Natural fibre structural panels
• Door core structures
• Finished door products
• Interior panel applications
The material structure allows NFB panels to maintain a lightweight construction while delivering stable mechanical and acoustic performance.
Key characteristics of the natural fibre structural core include:
• structural strength
• dimensional stability
• acoustic performance
• moisture resistance and durability
During the exhibition, visitors were able to see both single-core and double-core door structures, demonstrating how the same natural fibre core platform can be configured to create different levels of door system performance.
This platform-based material approach allows a single core material to support multiple door solutions through different structural configurations.

Nalexible Ultra-Thin Natural Stone
Alongside the NFB material system, we also showcased Nalexible ultra-thin natural stone panels.
Nalexible is a natural stone material with a thickness of approximately 2–3 mm, processed to retain the natural texture of stone while significantly reducing weight and allowing a degree of flexibility.
This type of stone panel can be used in a variety of architectural and interior design applications, including:
• interior wall surfaces
• furniture finishes
• custom interior design systems
• backlit translucent stone panels
At the exhibition, both large format stone panels and translucent stone lighting panels attracted strong interest from architects and interior designers looking for new material solutions.

Exhibition Highlights
Throughout the exhibition, we had the opportunity to connect with architects, designers, material distributors and project developers from multiple countries.
Many visitors were particularly interested in:
• natural fibre structural materials used in door systems
• lightweight structural panel technologies
• ultra-thin natural stone applications in interior architecture
The exhibition provided an excellent platform to share our work on new structural materials, sustainable material systems and innovative architectural applications.
We look forward to continuing the development of these materials and expanding their use in future architectural and interior design projects.
